The e-prescription is now available in Germany. If we have already scanned your health-insurance-card during this quarter, we can now also send you prescriptions digitally. This function is currently available to patients with general health insurance (GKV / gesetzliche Krankenversicherung). An expansion to private prescriptions is planned throughout Germany. To access the medication at the pharmacy, you will need an NFC-enabled health-insurance-card, which the majority of patients already have. If your health insurance card does not yet have this function, your health-insurance-company can help you with this.
